Welcome to the Department of Agricultural Sciences at Waterford  Union High School!
Agricultural Sciences exists to prepare students with interests in science, business, and technology. With courses devoted to medicine, animal science, the environment, biotechnology, horticulture, and others, Agricultural Sciences prepares students for the rapidly changing world through hands-on learning and scientific exploration. Through an engaging and rigorous education, individual career experiences, and personal development, Waterford Agricultural Sciences seeks to create stronger individuals, more-vibrant communities, and a more sustainable world.

Please note: this was the former website for Agricultural Science courses at Waterford Union High School. These files are no longer being updated as part of this program's curriculum. Please visit www.waterforduhs.k12.wi.us/pages/Waterford_HI  for the current program's information.

Future of Agriculture Curriculum for Teaching Sustainability (FACTS)
The National Science Foundation is funding research through Michigan State University on the effectiveness of the three-circle model in agricultural education for increasing the adoption of sustainable knowledge and practice among agricultural students. If you are interested in learning more about this research, please visit our new website at www.factsnsf.org. The pilot version of the curriculum is currently being developed and tested and can be accessed by clicking this link.  If you would like to take part in this research project by utilizing the curriculum and providing student performance data, please sign up at http://bit.ly/MSU-Sust-Ag .
